Our Beautiful Ensuite Rooms

We have two king-sized ensuite bedrooms upstairs: our Scottish-themed bedroom, MacDuff (sleeps 3), and our French-themed bedroom, Les Cévennes (sleeps 2). Guests love the luxurious, yet cosy ambiance and have beautiful views over the fields, hills and the garden. Each bedroom has superfast WiFi and is equipped for total comfort with a hair dryer, high quality towels, bath robes, face cloths, soft Egyptian cotton sheets, extra pillows and blankets, sumptuous, natural shower products, and our 100% natural, eco-friendly, Fetternear soaps made with pure honey and wax.

  Netherton Farm Lodge was welcoming and homely and the location perfect for hiking and seeing the beautiful Aberdeenshire countryside. All the extra touches from the hosts were just the cherry on a wonderful cake! Absolutely faultless.

  I really cannot fault the accomodation nor the very friendly welcome we received from Noelle and David.  Situated in a beautiful location the house is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and very well equipped with everything you might need during your stay.  There were lots of really great little welcoming touches that showed that the owners had put a lot of thought and effort into the project.  We will definately stay there again.

  A wonderful stay in a stunning property with amazing hosts.

The lodge itself is beautifully decorated and couldn’t be faulted. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and every detail is thought out including some fresh bread (and gluten free bread), butter and home made marmalade.

Noelle and her family are welcoming hosts and sent a very helpful local guide document before our arrival and was always on hand if we needed anything.

Poppy, Pumpkin & Crumble (their three spaniels) we’re also very hospitable although Noelle will keep them out the way if you are not a dog lover!

Would recommend to any families, couples or anyone wanting a weekend away.

  I should have said on my last review post that Nertherton Lodge is a fantastic place to spend time at. It is so bright and airy as well as being so fantastically furnished and decorated with attention to detail that makes all the difference when on holiday.

Noelle is a fantastic host. Not only has she thought of everything you may need and more but is a very very nice friendly person. The three pet dogs are very friendly too and greet you with tails wagging. All communications with Noelle made the experience all the more enjoyable.

The lodge is so cosy and comfortably furnished it is so nice just to spend time in and not go out although the walks through the estate are lovely .

I would thoroughly recommend Netherton Estate to any one looking for luxury accommodation. I doubt you could find better . We loved it.

  Remarquable accueil de Noelle et David qui font le maximum pour rendre le séjour agréable.On se sent parfaitement bien dans cette maison de construction récente , très spacieuse et  parfaitement bien équipée.
Pour les golfeurs ne pas manquer les deux links remarquables, celui de Trump splendide et aussi Cruden bay un peu plus loin , et aussi le très sympathique parkland de Newmarchar

Remarkable welcome from Noelle and David who do their utmost to make the stay pleasant. You feel perfectly at home in this recently built, very spacious and perfectly equipped house.
For golfers, do not miss the two remarkable links, the splendid Trump one and also Cruden bay a little further, and also the very pleasant Newmarchar parkland

  We went to Netherton Farm Lodge for a relaxing few days away for a birthday treat and were not disappointed. The accommodation is first class and the standard of finish in all areas of the lodge exceptional. On arrival, Noelle greeted, and beckoned, us in to show us the most welcoming and fabulous open space on the ground floor. Upstairs, the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable and the en-suite facilities in both rooms are finished to a very high standard. Also, check out Noelle's sketching skills hanging in the upstairs hallway; the dogs themselves are beautiful and bounding full of life. For entertainment, we discovered a backgammon board amongst the plethora of boardgames provided, much to our enjoyment to pass some time of an evening. There is also an electric keyboard in the open lounge area for those of us who like to dabble while taking in the lovely scenery. The local shops in nearby Kemnay provide your essentials; the butcher well worth a visit and for a highly rated Chinese Schezuan experience call Yuner's Kitchen. Inverurie is a lovely town nearby to park and wander, and, if you're a fan, Glen Garioch distillery is a short trip away in the car. Overall, high quality accommodation in a lovely part of the country. Highly recommend.

  This is the perfect country escape. From the picturesque scenery and beautifully decorated rooms, to smaller details such as the best tasting homemade marmalade I’ve ever had being offered at breakfast - this stay was magical.

The beds were comfy, the rooms were all immaculately clean and fresh, there were plenty of activities to keep us entertained, and there was even a luxuriously deep bath! The addition of homemade bath salts fragranced and decorated from the hosts own garden was charming. I found this very warming and thought it was lovely to include. The whole lodge is fantastically quirky and designed beautifully, but I found the addition of the bath salts endearing.

This is a very peaceful location and I could really feel myself unwind and relax whilst here. It was a very peaceful stay and the hosts made me feel so at home and very welcome. The tranquil surroundings and calming atmosphere added to an already excellent stay.

This beautiful country retreat is a breath of fresh air. I would 100% recommend this lodge to my friends and family and will definitely be coming back!

  Great location in peaceful countryside not far from hill walks around Bennachie and other local trails. The lodge is bright, super comfortable and it was amazing waking up to early-morning views of woods, farmland and the hills in the distance before we went out walking. The hosts are more than you could ask for - warm, welcoming, friendly, full of ideas for things to do, they even introduced us to some local produce. We were looking for a break to relax and disconnect after a few hectic weeks in the city and this was the perfect place for us.

  Netherton Lodge is luxurious. It felt like a home away from home. I was so welcomed on arrival and taken care of through out my stay.
The bedrooms and bathrooms are beautifully decorated, creatively themed and spacious.
In the living area there is plenty of space for chilling out in front of the TV or at one of the tables. It provides a variety of boardgames which is a lovely touch.
It is a beautiful self catering lodge and I cannot wait to visit again. Could not recommend it more.

  We have just had the most enjoyable and relaxing staycation at the Netherton Farm Lodge. When we arrived our host, Noelle, was quick to welcome us and show us around the beautiful lodge room by room and giving us plenty of information to help us enjoy our stay.

The lodge was perfect. It was immaculately clean and very comfortable and had everything we needed. We were welcomed with some of Noelle’s homemade whiskey marmalade and butter made locally, neither lasted long, they were so delicious. Noelle’s attention to detail was second to none, everything from fresh flowers to handmade soaps in the bathrooms just made our stay even more enjoyable.

The bedrooms were very spacious with very comfortable beds and beautiful decor, just what you need for a relaxing break. The kitchen and living facilities were great, everything catered for. Plenty of dining space and cosy seating with fantastic views over the countryside.

We sat out in the garden and enjoyed the flowers, views and wildlife in the sunshine. The lodge sits within a beautiful estate with nice woodland/riverside walks and easy access to the village of Kemnay.

Noelle, David and Helene were perfect hosts, giving up their time for the odd wee chat which was lovely. We especially loved Pumpkin, Poppy and Bramble, the family dogs who were so friendly and so much fun.

We really did have a nice time here and would recommend it to anyone. We can’t wait to go back.
